The Ötztal with its fascinating mountain scenery and its homely idyll is one of the most beautiful and popular hiking paradises in Tyrol. There are endless possibilities, from the comfortable round trip to the demanding summit tour you can experience everything here.

With us in Burgstein you don´t only enjoy the silence of nature during a hike - no, you are at home in the middle of this gigantic mountain scenery, the mountains are almost your neighbors!

Due to our unique panorama altitude of 1.500m, we are the ideal starting point for a short walk or a long hike. The highlight is the Hängebrücke "Mauerrinne" which connects our village Burgstein with the hamlet Brand. You can reach them both in summer and in winter after a 10-minute walk.

Our secret tip is the hike to the viewpoint "Wiesle" with a view over the whole Ötztal, which you can reach in about 1 hour from our hotel.
