Summer in the Ötztal

For friends of outdoor sports like hikers, mountain climbers, mountain bikers, adventure athletes or climbers the Ötztal is the right place for holiday. Being guest in our hotel means to be connected directly with the beautiful nature of giant mountains through our unique silent location. Whatever sports you get into, Burgstein is the ideal place to start your sporty day. For climbers there is the “Reinhard-Schiestl” fixed rope route from the valley directly to our plateau. For hikers there is a panorama trail with a spectacular rope bridge with fantastic view over the valley. Also mountain climbers can start their tour direct from our hotel.

If you are an adrenalin junkie you have the possibility to go canyoning, rafting or paragliding in Ötz, at the entry of the Ötztal. Not far from that is Area 47, Europe´s most trendy and sporty playground for adults.

For the ones who prefer a relax holiday at all, there is the thermal Spa Aqua Dome not far from our hotel in Längenfeld (5km).
